1. About these Terms
These Terms cover the STACK Card Games website and STACK Online when available. The project is operated independently by Miguel Carvalho in Portugal. Contact: stackstudios.dev@gmail.com. STACK Online is available through the Online page and continues to receive improvements.
Use the services lawfully and follow these Terms. Your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Using the website or accepting these Terms does not automatically subscribe you to marketing or authorise optional tracking.
2. Accounts and access
Online account features use email and password or Google sign-in. Provide an email address you control, complete any required confirmation and keep your sign-in and recovery details private. You may choose a player name without using your full legal name. Do not impersonate someone else or access another person's account.
You must be entitled to use the service under applicable law and obtain parental or guardian authorisation where required. The physical game's recommended age does not override online-account or third-party service requirements.
EXIT GAME ends the current match, signs you out of your STACK account and returns you to the Online page. Closing a tab does not necessarily sign you out. On a shared device, use EXIT GAME when finished. This does not sign you out of Google itself or delete your STACK account.
Contact us to request deletion of your account. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a security issue or a legal obligation. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us about the decision.
3. Playing STACK Online
The current version is one human player against three CPU opponents. Features, balancing and interface details may change as development continues. The digital Help and current game implementation describe the browser game's controls and digital behaviour; the published official rules govern the physical game.
Service interruptions, updates, browser limitations or defects may affect play. A match in progress is not currently guaranteed to survive a refresh or closed tab. Settings and recent local match history are not a promise of cross-device saved games.
Do not disrupt the service, exploit faults to harm others, send automated or fraudulent registrations, bypass access controls, extract other users' data or deliberately generate invalid ad traffic. Report problems through the game's help tools or our contact email.
4. Advertising and optional marketing
The website contains advertising and affiliate links that help fund STACK. A commission depends on the advertiser's qualifying action and rules; it is not a reward owed to the player. Third-party offers may be limited by age, country, device or other eligibility conditions. Check their terms before using them.
STACK Online is intended to include advertising, potentially video breaks between games or when starting another game. No in-game video advertising provider is currently active. Availability and placement will depend on the integration and provider rules; an ad is not guaranteed at every break. Any optional rewarded-ad feature will state its conditions when offered.
We will identify an in-game provider in the Privacy Policy and implement the required notices and choices before enabling its tracking. Marketing emails are a separate opt-in that can be withdrawn in Options or by contacting us. Advertising or marketing consent is not granted merely by accepting these Terms.
5. Physical products and external services
Physical editions and merchandise are purchased through external storefronts, including MakePlayingCards and Fourthwall. The seller identified at checkout handles its transaction, payment, delivery, returns and applicable consumer information. Review the final price, currency, shipping charges, taxes, delivery estimates and seller terms before ordering. STACK's website does not collect your payment-card details for those purchases.
Links, adverts, referral offers, donations and social services do not make their providers part of STACK. We do not control their availability or promise their advertised results. Nothing here removes any responsibility or consumer right that applies by law.
6. STACK materials
STACK names, artwork, card designs, rules presentation, website assets and game code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and belong to their respective rights holders. Access to the website or browser game does not transfer ownership.
You may use the game for personal play and share links to the official pages. Downloads or promotional copies may carry specific permissions; follow those permissions. Do not resell, redistribute or commercially reuse protected assets or code without permission, except where the law allows. You may record and share your own gameplay with credit to STACK, subject to any separate music or third-party rights.
7. Availability and responsibility
STACK is an independently developed project. We aim to keep the service usable but do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or that a preview will be free of defects. We may update features or withdraw a preview, taking account of applicable obligations and reasonable notice where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. We are not responsible for a third party's independent conduct except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible.
8. Changes, law and contact
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The date above identifies this version. Where a material change requires notice or agreement, we will provide it; an update is not retroactive consent to a new data use.
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, subject to mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. They do not require consumers to waive a competent court or any statutory right. For questions, account requests or concerns, email stackstudios.dev@gmail.com.
